New for the 2026 season
This year we are introducing defined WEEKDAY and WEEKEND time blocks to better support conservation stewardship of the property, as well as scheduling necessary maintenance and cleaning of the cottage. These changes will help us to protect the land while continuing to offer a high-quality guest experience, and we truly appreciate your flexibility and support!
Our block rates are based on a fee of $150 per night during the LOW-SEASON (May, June, September and October) and $180 per night during the HIGH-SEASON (July and August, including up to Labour Day in September). You are welcome to book multiple blocks, back-to-back, if you would like a longer stay. The prices listed below and on the booking form already include HST.
In an effort to keep costs lower for our guests, we won't be charging a cleaning fee, but we do ask that you leave the cottage clean, in the same condition of your arrival. This helps to minimize the amount of time our staff have to spend cleaning between guests, so they can spend more time on conservation work. Thank you for supporting nature!

Low-Season WEEKEND Block $675
Reserve a 4-night WEEKEND block during MAY, JUNE, SEPTEMBER, or OCTOBER (first week of September excluded). Check-in Friday at 3:00 pm, check-out Tuesday by 11:00 am. The block price is based on $150 per night + HST.

Security Deposit - Per Visit $150
This deposit is fully refunded if the cottage is left clean and undamaged at check-out.

Covington Cottage offers guests the unique opportunity to stay in an off-grid eco-cottage surrounded by 32 undisturbed acres of the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Reserve. This property provides critical habitat and refuge to an array of flora and fauna including many rare and at-risk species. Let us know what wildlife you see on the property!

Covington Cottage combines access to incredible natural landscapes with convenient amenities to make your off-grid experience as comfortable as possible. Enjoy 3 bedrooms, a propane cookstove and fridge, BBQ, fireplace, canoes, kayaks and all the necessities of a cozy basecamp to your outdoor explorations. The cottage sleeps 5 guests comfortably.
Supporting Conservation
The cottage is managed by the land trust, a charitable conservation organization that protects ecologically significant lands and the wildlife that calls them home. With over 20 properties within the Rideau Corridor, your rental fee not only maintains the cottage, it contributes to our ongoing efforts in property acquisition and stewardship.
