The Next Generation of Land Stewards

At the Rideau Waterway Land Trust, our diverse, conserved properties provide an exceptional backdrop for outdoor learning experiences. These beautiful landscapes not only offer opportunities for students to explore themes of biology and conservation, but they also foster a deeper connection to the natural world. We occasionally welcome students and groups to engage in our land stewardship projects by hosting class trips, Library Walks, and student co-op placements.

In addition to our own programs, we are eager to partner with other organizations and educational institutions to utilize our properties for their events, field trips, and outdoor education sessions. By collaborating with like-minded groups, we can create enriching opportunities for youth to connect with nature. Together, we can inspire a lasting passion for the environment!
